About

You've done the hard part. You found this page.

Whether you clicked here in a quiet moment of clarity, or you've had this tab open for three weeks waiting until you felt ready, you're here now, and that matters.

You're probably someone who holds it together really well on the outside. You show up for everyone. You're the capable one. But inside, there's a version of you that's exhausted, over-thinking, and quietly wondering why you can't just feel okay.

Maybe it's anxiety that follows you everywhere. Maybe you're still carrying something heavy, a loss, a relationship, something that happened that you've never quite been able to set down. Maybe you've tried to logic your way through it, and your brain knows all the right things, but your body still hasn't got the memo.

  • You’ve weathered storms no one prepared you for.
  • You’ve adapted in ways that kept you going.
  • You deserve steadiness, safety, and space to breathe.
GET IN TOUCH

Who I am

I'm Ronda. And I've been where you are.

I'm warm, straight-talking and involved. Sessions with me feel like a real conversation one where you can be heard, where we can together make the changes you seek.

I've been the high-achiever with the life that looked perfect on the outside. I have lived experience of health anxiety and PTSD. I know what it's like to feel completely out of control in a body that won't calm down, in a life that everyone else thinks is fine.

I also know the way through. Not because read it, because I lived it. And then I spent years training so I could offer that same way through to the women I work with.

Outside the therapy room

I love to travel, find joy in exploring, and feel most at home near the sea. I'm a wife and mum to three extraordinary humans. Art feeds my soul. Yoga is my passion.

How I work

Gentle but direct. Evidence-based and body-aware. I work with your whole self, mind and body because one without the other only gets you so far.

WHAT CHANGES

What our work together actually looks like

When we work together, you won't just talk about your problems in circles.

  • You'll start to understand what's actually happening — in your mind, in your patterns, in the way your past is living in your present.
  • You'll stop waking up with your stomach already doing somersaults
  • You'll know what your triggers mean — and what to do with them
  • You'll start trusting yourself again maybe for the first timeYour body will feel like somewhere safe to be
  • You'll stop people-pleasing or overthinking from fear — and start choosing from a place of strength

I practice Counselling and Psychotherapy including CBT, EMDR, and I also offer Psycho-somatic therapy (body-based practices) including breath-work, mindfulness and yoga. If you have experienced heart break, worry, overwhelm or a challenging life experience your body has been keeping score. All sessions are shaped entirely around you and where you need to start.

SEE HOW WE COULD WORK TOGETHER

READY

You don't have to feel this way forever.

A lot of women tell me they spent years thinking they just needed to try harder, be stronger, get a grip. You need support that actually works.

The first step is just a conversation. Low pressure. I'll listen, we'll talk about what you're carrying, and we'll figure out together whether working with me is the right fit for you. If you are ready and just want to book straight in then you can select an appointment on the Therapy page, the choice is yours.

Frequently Asked Questions

FAQs

Who do you work with?

I work with predominantly women, I do work with all adults and children aged 6 and above. For children under 11, I work collaboratively with their parent, carer, or relevant professionals to make sure they feel supported both inside and outside the therapy space.

What issues can you help with?

People come to therapy for many different reasons anxiety, stress, grief, break ups, trauma responses, life transitions, or simply feeling overwhelmed or disconnected. You don’t need to be in crisis to reach out. Therapy offers a calm, steady space to explore what’s happening in your mind and body, and to find ways of feeling more grounded and supported.

How do I know you are the right therapist for me?

The relationship between therapist and client is one of the most important parts of the work. If you would like to know a little more I offer a short, free phone call so you can get a sense of how I work, ask any questions, and see whether it feels like a good fit. There’s no pressure just a gentle conversation about what you’re looking for and what support might help.

Do you offer online and in person or walk and talk sessions?

Yes. I offer in‑person sessions in Nottingham, online sessions for anyone in UK who prefers flexibility or distance, and walk‑and‑talk therapy (outdoors in summer). You’re welcome to choose the format that feels most comfortable, and we can adapt as your needs change.

Do I have to do Yoga or Breathing exercises?

Not at all. Some people find grounding, movement, or breathwork helpful, but it’s never required. You’re always in control of what we do in sessions. If you prefer purely talking therapy, that’s absolutely fine. If you’re curious about body‑based tools, we can explore them gently and only if it feels right for you.

How do I set up an appointment?

Booking a session is simple. You can book directly on the website or contact me on my website via WhatsApp or send an email, or simply call me whatever feels most comfortable. I’ll offer a short, no‑pressure conversation so we can talk about what you’re looking for and find a time that works for you.
