Therapy
My approach: integrative and trauma-informed
I draw from several evidence-based therapies, depending on what’s going to work best for you. This includes:
- EMDR – Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing. An evidence-based therapy for trauma, anxiety, and disturbing experiences. It helps your brain reprocess stuck material so it stops feeling so raw.
- CBT – Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. This helps you identify unhelpful thinking patterns and develop more balanced ways of responding.
- Counselling & Psychotherapy – A relational, exploratory approach that helps you understand the roots of your emotional struggles.
- Somatic tools – Breath-work, mindfulness, and yoga-based practices to support nervous system regulation and reconnect you with your body. (Feel better faster!)
- Counselling for young people provides a confidential space where teenagers can talk about their feelings, experiences, and challenges, helping them to develop healthier ways of coping
We’ll tailor the work to you. There’s no one-size-fits-all.
Therapy usually starts with weekly sessions. This gives us consistency, safety, and momentum.
